  • Tickets are only valid for the date, time, route, and vessel specified on the ticket. Changes may require approval and may incur fees (if permitted).

Luggage, Passenger Restrictions & Safety

  • Standard luggage allowance: Generally up to 2 pieces of luggage free of charge, size around 20 inches each, with a combined maximum weight of about 25 kg (unless otherwise stated)

  • Extra charges may apply for oversized items (e.g., surf boards) or baggage exceeding allowance.

  • Carriage of animals, cars, motorcycles (scooters) is not permitted under the standard fast-ferry service.

  • Travel by fast boat is not recommended for certain passengers, e.g., pregnant travellers, those with serious heart or back conditions, or significant physical impairments.

  • The operator reserves the right to inspect luggage; items deemed dangerous or in contravention of safety rules (flammables, explosives, prohibited substances) may be refused.

Schedule, Vessel & Route Changes

  • Departure times, voyage durations and vessel types may change due to weather conditions, sea state, port/dock conditions, or other operational reasons.

  • The operator reserves the right to substitute the vessel, alter the route, skip stops, or cancel a crossing without liability to the passenger for consequential losses (e.g., missed flights/hotels)

Cancellation, Refunds & No-Show

  • If the operator cancels a sailing (for e.g., weather or vessel issue), passengers may be eligible for a refund or re-booking; the exact policy depends on the booking channel. In one published summary: “Cancel 48 hours before departure and receive a full refund (minus cancellation fee)

  • If the passenger fails to check-in or arrives late, the ticket may become invalid and no refund is likely.

  • For changes or cancellations initiated by the passenger, fees and deadlines apply — the exact terms should be checked when purchasing the ticket.

Liability & Travel Documents

  • The passenger is responsible for having all required travel documents (passport, visa, entry permits) for their itinerary. The operator is not liable for failure to board due to lack of documents.

  • The operator and crew maintain the vessel’s safety equipment and procedures, but the passenger accepts the risk of sea travel, including delays, discomfort from sea conditions, or changes in route/time.

  • The operator generally disclaims liability for indirect losses (missed flights, hotel stays, etc) caused by delays, cancellations or other events beyond its control. The passenger’s recourse is typically limited to refund of the ticket or alternative voyage.

Important Passenger Tips

  • Arrive early at the departure port, check-in promptly, and follow the operator’s boarding instructions.

  • Confirm your departure port, route (intermediate stops or direct), arrival port, and approximate duration — many routes list “may change subject to conditions”

  • Ensure your luggage fits within the allowed size/weight, and verify any extra-charges for items like surfboards.

  • If you are seasick prone or need special accommodation, contact the operator beforehand.

  • Keep your ticket/voucher, identification, and any departure time updates accessible.
